Laura began singing as a child, taught herself to play guitar, and has written songs from her heart and soul since the tender age of 13. Laura's music, which began as a sincere clinging to the God of her understanding for spiritual safety as she struggled to survive in an abusive home, has grown and flourished into a ministry of healing through story and song.

Laura grew up in the Roman Catholic tradition where she developed a strong sense of mysticism. This deep spiritual connection has led her into a wondrous discovery of and passion for the Source of all that is. Her music reflects her journey from her Catholic roots into an abundant awareness of Spirit threading through global human experience. Her songs are conversations between her soul and the Great Soul that connects us all.

Music Ministry began early in Laura's life and has continued in various forms for the past 30 years. Laura has served in music ministry in many different religious traditions, including Roman Catholic, Christian Science, Unitarian-Universalism, and Lutheran churches. She sang professionally as a Cantor for the Catholic Diocese of Galveston-Houston, as a soprano for two seasons in the Houston Chamber Choir, as soloist for Christian Science, Methodist, and Baptist churches, and as a guest artist at many churches in the Houston and Dallas area over the years.

Laura's recording career began as part of her role in the Life Teen music ministry of St. Paul's Catholic Community on two albums: Leading Me Back (2000), and her first compilation of original music, Hold Nothing Back (2001). In 2005, Laura released her current album of original songs in the cd entitled, Annunciation.
